favorite

Someone asked me why there are sentences as follow:

These books are my favorite.

These are my favorite books.

Yes, the two sentences are right and the meaning is the same. We can say like that because the word “Favorite” has two functions. Those are the adjective and noun so we can place the word “favorite” both as the adjective position and noun position.

That’s all. Any idea? Tell us below here!

Will and going to

Will and be going to” are the words to form the Future Tense. The words are to express something happens in the future.

However there is the different in using the words:

Will is used to express a promise or something that will happen if something else is done. Examples:

I will come to your house next week.

I will come to your house if you invite me.

Be going to is used to express a plan. Examples:

I am going to spend my holidays in my Grandpa’s house.

I am going to come to your house when your mother is out.

That’s all from me, and as usual, if you have your own opinions, please share with us here.

Dissatisfied or unsatisfied?

Someone asked me the difference between “dissatisfied and unsatisfied”. Well, now I am going to try to explain.

Dissatisfied means someone who is not satisfied, unhappy, frustrated, or disappointed with someone, something, or situation. Example:

I am very dissatisfied with the service from the Bank.

Unsatisfied means the feeling of needing more and it can refer to something abstract. Example:

I have washed my left hand three times until it’s clean, but it’s still unsatisfied.

Well, if you are still dissatisfied with my explanation, please find out more, and if you have any idea and opinion, please let us know.

Thanks.

Between versus among

When we compare two things, we say “between

When we compare three or more things, we say “among'”

Now let’s see the examples below:

I can’t choose the best one between apple and orange.

John is  the cleverest student among the students in class A.
