Learning how to write well by blogging

Blogging teaches us how to write neatly and correctly. Is it? In blogging, we need to write articles or posts to be posted on our blogs. Of course we want our posts good and readable. That is the reason why I am blogging while learning English because I want to learn how to write well and correctly in English although for many internet users especially bloggers do in reverse, i.e. they learn how to write well for blogging. For that purpose, I am trying to write posts in various categories such as business, money, and others in addition to those related to English to make me more capable in writing English. Therefore, you will find many posts here not in related in Learning English. But of course, we still can learn much from them.

We talk about “blogging”, but do you know what it means? Well, now we are trying to learn about the word “blogging”. For those who have been involved in the internet world so far should have known exactly what blogging is and how to do it. You also can easily find many articles or blog posts talking about “blogging” on the Internet. However, let me write here because I want to make it as an online note for myself as well as you, I hope.

Blogging derives from the word “blog”. As an English word, “blog” has no meaning (at the first time) because it stands for web log. Web log or blog is web application that consists of entries displayed in reverse order so newest entry appears first. And now the word “blog” has also become an English word as a verb that means an activity on the Internet, including inside it creating a blog, writing articles, optimizing blog, and others. Therefore, you will find the words such as blogging and blogger (one that does blogging) that comes following the word “blog”.
