Do you often hear the words news and information? Is there any difference?

Well, I can explain like this:

News means about something that has recently happened such as in TV News Programs, etc.

Information means the facts and details about something, for example, you will find information desk in many public places such as airport, supermarket, etc.

    NEWS- news is account ,what has recently happened ,as a news in newspaper as a news programmme on T.V or RADIO telling you what has happen in the world around.

    INFORMATION-information describe facts and detail about a certain subject\object .
