I think everyone knows it. But do you know that there are some different uses of cheese? Check out below:

Big Cheese  :  a leader, a boss. He’s the big cheese here/He’s the boss here.

Cheese it     :  run away, leave quickly. Cheese it! The Cops!/Let’s leave quickly! The Police!

Cheesy        : cheap and lack of taste, not classy. Don’t wear that shirt. It looks cheesy/Don’t wear that shirt. It looks cheap and lack of taste.

Cut the cheese  : to fart, to pass gas. Who cut the cheese?/Who passed gas?

Sandwich word, we've known as a noun, is sandwich or (meat, cheese or lettuce, etc.), in English also functions as a verb (especially in the form of the passive voice), which means; hemmed in between two people / objects.

Sentence 'I was sandwiched between two fat men on the bus', we have translated as, 'I was hemmed in between two fat men on the bus'.

Being in a state hemmed in by two people / objects in associated with Sandwich.

English expression using the word “green”

English language uses the word GREEN in different sentences that have different meanings. Here are some examples of sentences using the word GREEN;

1. Green Bananas >> To illustrate the fruits that have not fully matured, for example Green Bananas, Bananas means not yet fully mature (that does not mean the Green Bananas in terms of Indonesian).

2. HE'S STILL VERY GREEN, HE'S BOUND TO MAKE mistakes >> To describe someone who is less experienced (not yet mature or wise).

3. IT WAS A ROUGH Crossing AND MANY OF THE PASSENGERS DISTINCTLY GREEN LOOKED >> GREEN in this case means white.

4. THE GRASS IS (ALWAYS) Greener ON THE OTHER SIDE (OF THE FENCE) >> (Greener = MORE GREEN, in this case describes a person who never felt satisfied with the current situation (in terms of financial and from the other side) and always consider others better off.

5. MOTHER HAS GREEN Fingers >> Green Fingers is defined as someone who has a green thumb skills.

I love you

Hello Boys and Girls! If all of you are falling in love, you must know the words appeared in the title of this writing. Yes, the only three words above in the title are very powerful and often heard. The words “I love you” will make your loved one love you more and more than before. Although some of them may not be so enthusiastic to hear that.

Maybe you are too bored to heat the words “I love you” so today, I have gathered some phrases to express love. I collect this powerful phrase from movies, magazine, and internet, and are just for those who are falling in live with someone.

Do you have a dog at home? What do you say to ask it sit? I think many people will say “Sit!” or ‘Sit down!” And what if a guest comes to your house? There are some options as follow to ask him/her sit down:

Please sit down!

Pleas be seated!

Please take a seat!

Please have a seat!

Instead of using Sit! or Sit down!

My brother was so confused with the words “for good”. He wanted to know the meaning!

For good means forever or permanently. e.g.: I want to leave you for good.

Good has many meanings. Some of them are below as I took from TheFreeDictionary.com:

* Full  >> It is a good mile from here.

* Handsome >> good looks

* Useless >> It is no good crying over spilt milk.
